I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of 2011. WOW. I’m indeed excited about embarking a fresh fresh year. My “teacher” fresh year’s resolution is to simply stay organized. This has always been one of the hardest parts of instructing for me. I am a clutter bug with limited space. I have a hard time letting go of “my stuff” because..well. I might just need it one day. Sometimes I get discouraged & weary attempting to keep everything in its place. Am I the only one out there who *organizes* for hours and then can’t find one darn thing that I need. Gratefully, Deanna Leap’s organizational words of wisdom posted fully inspired me to keep working on my purpose. Very first step(s)- have faith, let go of the stuff & deep breath.

As far as a private fresh year’s resolution, I want to begin spending quality time with my hubby. Confession

My almost Three year old son has only spent a total of Two nights away from us. It’s time y’all. time for me & my hubs to love a little getaway while our precious Parker stays with his grandparents. Where to go? Where to go?

With all the fresh year’s reflection and excitement for 2012, I made a few things to share with you!

Thanks so much for sharing Deanna's amazing article on getting organized from her “PreK+K Sharing” post. Her sense of humor is just what I needed as well as her visuals. Let's all go after her example.

We're just getting our collaborative blog off the ground and the response has been amazing. We're all especially grateful for those in the blogging world who have been sharing.

Thanks for sharing the adorable activities Anna! I hope to use them when we comeback to school. It is super hard to send the kids to their grandparents and get away just me and my hubs. I'm not sure what it is but even when we do I am permanently thinking about them and worrying also. It will be good for you tho’ and I am hoping to do some more of that as well. Glad Fresh Year.

I think I am a “clutter bug” too. I always say “I might need it” or “I can use it for. “. I agree, it seems that after I organize I can't find anything! HA! Why is that? I am making organization my training Fresh Year's resolution.

Thanks so much for sharing these freebies. I love your units on TPT. Blessed Fresh Year!

Anna,
Thank you for all that you share and suggest on TPT. I have purchased a lot of different products from there and yours are always my beloved! Do you have any plans this fresh year to create common core aligned centers? I love your centers. they are my beloved! On another note. my “babies” are Eighteen and 15 and our very first time away from them was last year when I was given a ticket to Hawaii from a student ( awesome story for another time). Dont wait so long like I did. Love your fresh year, your getaway planning, and getting organized! I am so grateful for you! Gina

I love your blog thanks for all the excellent stuff! Would love to use this stuff in January.

Thanks for the Fresh Year printables Anna! I'm ending up my lesson for writing resolutions and needed one more thing. The prediction bubble sheet is ideal. ) Blessed Fresh Year!
